We are open for our virtual, touchless screening. We encourage couples ready to have children to test together. This is due to medical panels and advances in medicine that may require additional testing when you get closer to the point of having children.
Thank you!
Please email our genetic counselor if you have additional questions before registering for preconception testing:

Carrier testing rarely causes any issues with discrimination; however, should that be a concern, a federal law called the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) makes it illegal for health insurance companies, employer-sponsored group health plans, and most employers to discriminate against you based on your genetic information. This law will protect you in the following ways:
• Health insurance companies and group health plans may not request your genetic information other than to decide whether to approve payment for services in some instances. (However, they may request information about a genetic disease or disorder that is already showing symptoms.)
• Health insurance companies and group health plans may not use your genetic information when deciding your insurance eligibility or premiums. (Again, they may use information about a genetic disease or disorder already showing symptoms.)
• Employers with 15 or more employees may not use your genetic information when making decisions to hire, promote, or fire you or when setting the terms of your employment.
This federal law does not protect you against discrimination by companies that sell life insurance, disability insurance, or long-term care insurance. However, Arizona state law provides some protection against discrimination by companies that sell life or disability insurance.
